Wyoming's Young People Thrive When We Work Together

Young people spend 80% of their time outside of school — time rich with opportunity to explore interests, pursue passions, and grow essential life skills.

The Wyoming Enrichment Network exists to empower the people and organizations who shape young people's lives outside the school day, so that every young person in Wyoming has access to quality enrichment experiences from childhood through young adulthood.

We work alongside communities to help all young people find meaningful paths to adulthood and our communities grow stronger in the process.

What We Do

Empower Adults & Organizations with Knowledge and Skill

We equip youth-serving professionals, mentors, and organizations with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to make a lasting impact — cultivating community leaders with a genuine passion for young people, so that communities can sustain and grow this work over time.

Champion the Value of Enrichment

High-quality enrichment experiences are essential to young people's ability to explore their interests, build mastery, and develop the skills that support thriving families and a strong Wyoming workforce. WYEN helps civic leaders understand and champion that value.

Cultivate Community Connections

WYEN builds on the unique strengths of Wyoming's communities, regularly convening local leaders and organizations to collaborate in ways that benefit young people and ensure a vibrant future for our state — connecting the programs, professionals, and resources that help every young person grow with confidence and purpose.

Our Values

Across Wyoming, young people are growing up in places that hold remarkable potential—small towns, ranching communities, and neighborhoods where caring adults make all the difference.

Start with Strengths

We begin from an asset base. Every young person—and every community—has talents, traditions, and knowledge that can fuel growth. We build on what’s strong, not what’s wrong.

Belonging Comes First

Young people thrive when they feel they belong—when they are known, valued, and included. Belonging is the soil in which confidence, creativity, and contribution take root.

Quality at the Center

High-quality experiences—whether in a classroom, library, 4-H club, or afterschool program—are the heart of thriving. Quality requires skilled adults, supportive environments, and intentional design.

National Partners, Local Impact
